Please note the following:
- Ensure you export a new backup file after making any changes within your wallet!
- A wallet backup will contain both mnemonic and hardware accounts. It is the easiest and fastest way to import your wallet to another device.
- In contrast, if you restore a wallet using a recovery phrase, your hardware wallets will not be restored and will have to be re-imported. Therefore, it is faster to restore a wallet from a backup.
- Restoring via a wallet backup is recommended for users who access their wallet using Incognito/Private Browsing, or clear their cache, to avoid entering a recovery phrase every time you restore your wallet
Step 1: Log in to your NuFi account
In order to add an account, you should be logged in to your NuFi account.
The Portfolio screen will be displayed, as shown below.
