You can stake the ADA on your Ledger Nano S Plus, Nano X, Stax or Flex through NUFI. Your ADA never leaves your device, stays spendable the whole time, and every staking transaction is approved on your Ledger.
Before you start
- Pair your Ledger's Cardano accounts with NUFI. See Manage Ledger using NUFI wallet.
- Connect and unlock your Ledger, open the Cardano app, and close Ledger Live.
- Have a few spare ADA. The first time you stake from an account, the blockchain takes a 2 ADA deposit (refunded if you stop staking), plus a small network fee.
Steps
- Click Stake Now next to ADA on the Home screen, or click Staking in the left-hand sidebar, then select Cardano.
- Choose your Ledger Cardano account and click Stake ADA.
- Choose a stake pool, or use the recommended one. On Cardano, your account's entire ADA balance is staked. You can't stake just part of it.
- Click Continue, review the deposit and fee, then approve the transaction on your Ledger.
Your first rewards arrive in about 15–20 days, then every 5 days. Rewards are staked automatically, and you can withdraw them to your available balance at any time.
