You can switch to a different stake pool at any time. There's no new deposit, just a small network fee, and your ADA stays staked throughout.
Steps
- Click Staking in the left-hand sidebar, then open your Cardano staking dashboard.
- Find the account, click the three dots (⋮), and choose Change validator.
- Choose a new pool from the list, or search by ticker, name or pool ID, and review its details.
- Click Submit and review the fee.
- Approve the transaction:
- Hot wallet: enter your NUFI password.
- Hardware wallet: approve on your device, which shows the pool you're delegating to. Check that it matches. Ledger users should have the Cardano app open.
Timing
The new pool takes over after about two epochs (roughly 10 days). Until then, you keep earning rewards from your previous pool, so you don't miss any.
