Please ensure that:

1. Your Ledger device is connected & unlocked

2. The relevant blockchain app is running on your Ledger device

3. The relevant blockchain app is up to date

4. Ledger firmware is up to date

5. Ledger Live is not running



Step 1: Log in to NuFi Wallet



Step 2: Portfolio Manager

Once you have logged in, the Portfolio Manager page will be displayed, as shown below.

Step 3: Select Asset


This article will use ADA to demonstrate.


On the corresponding row of the asset which you want to receive the funds, select ‘Receive’.


Step 4: Select Account


You will then be shown the below, where you can select the account you wish to receive the funds into, as well as view the wallet address and corresponding QR code for the selected account.



By default, the hot wallet account will be selected. To view the available accounts, press the arrow shown below.



The list of available accounts will be displayed. Select the desired Ledger account you wish to receive the funds into, as shown below.

This example will use the account ‘ADA_Ledger_1_S’, highlighted in yellow below.

Note: A Ledger account is depicted with the following symbol to the right of the account name.

           


Step 5: Verify Address

Account Address

You will need to provide the account address to the sender, so they can specify where to send the funds. It is important to verify the account address displayed on NuFi corresponds with the account address displayed on the Ledger device, to ensure the funds are sent to the correct place.

Select ‘Verify address on your Ledger device’.


Waiting For Verification

Whilst waiting for verifications to be completed, NuFi will display the following.

On your Ledger device, you will be presented with the below information, which you will need to verify:

  • Verify Address
  • Address Path
  • Staking Key Path
  • Address

Make sure the address, shown under the ‘Address’ field displayed on the Ledger device, matches the address shown on the NuFi wallet, as shown in red below.


Once you have navigated through each step and verified the information is correct, you will then be presented with the below screen again.


Provide the address to the sender

Now that you have verified the account address, the account address can be provided to the sender.

The sender can either scan the QR code or enter the account address manually to specify where the funds will be sent. 

Once the sender has obtained the account address, select ‘Done’.


Step 6: Portfolio Manager

You will then be taken back to the Portfolio Manager, as shown below.

Please note that you may not see the funds deposited into your account immediately. The amount of time for funds to display in your wallet will vary by blockchain/asset/network etc.



Step 7: Funds Received

Once the funds have been received, they will be displayed on the Portfolio Manager page, as shown below.
