This article will demonstrate how to unstake uncommitted FLOW.
Any FLOW that is uncommitted can be unstaked and then immediately withdrawn to the available FLOW balance.
Step 1: Access NuFi Wallet
Access NuFi Wallet.
You will be taken to Portfolio page, as shown below.
Step 2: Staking
Navigate to ‘Staking’ in the left-hand corner, as shown below.
Step 3: My Staking
A list of your staking will be shown.
Press ‘My Staking’ for FLOW
Step 4: Stake Accounts
A breakdown of FLOW staking will be displayed. Locate the account you wish to unstake FLOW from.
Using the three-dot menu, press ‘Unstake tokens’
Step 5: Unstake FLOW
You will then be shown the below.
Input the amount of FLOW to unstake, then press ‘Continue’
Step 6: Enter Password
A breakdown of the transaction will be displayed.
Enter the wallet password, then press ‘Submit’
Submitting
Whilst the transaction submits, you will be shown the below:
Successful
Once the transaction has successfully submitted, you will see the below.
Press ‘Close’ to go back to the FLOW staking page.
Step 7: Requested to Unstake
In ‘My Staking’ for FLOW, the amount requested to be unstaked will display under ‘Requested to unstake’
It will remain in this state until the next epoch starts. This can take up to 7 days (the length of each epoch).
Step 8: Unstaking
Once the next epoch starts, the requested amount to unstake will display under ‘Unstaking’
Step 9: Unstaked
Once the next epoch begins, the requested amount to unstake will be displayed as ‘Unstaked’
At this point, the funds can be withdrawn to the account’s available balance or restaked.
