You can sell the ADA in your wallet and deposit the money into your bank account. If you haven’t completed the KYC process (explained here), you’ll need to do this before you can sell any tokens.
Requirements: enough ADA in your wallet to pay the transaction fee
To sell ADA:
Click Buy/Sell in the wallet widget; NuFi will open in a new browser tab and you’ll be logged in automatically
You’ll see the Buy/Sell window; click ‘Sell’ at the top of this window
Select Cardano as the asset you want to sell and, below that, make sure your account is selected as the ‘from’ account
Choose how much ADA you want to sell
Important: in a later step, you will send the ADA you want to sell to Moonpay, who will then deposit money into your bank account.
To send ADA, you will need to pay a transaction fee of roughly 0.2 ADA: if you sell your wallet’s entire ADA balance, you won’t have enough ADA to pay the transaction fee and you won’t be able to complete the selling process. Be sure to retain at least 0.2 ADA.Click continue; enter your email address, receive a one-time verification code by email and enter this, and then follow Moonpay’s instructions to enter your bank details
Click continue; you’ll see that your sell order is Pending, which means Moonpay is waiting for you to send ADA to them.
Click ‘Send with NuFi’ and then approve (sign) the send transaction to complete the process.
Important: it may take several hours for Moonpay to deposit the money into your bank account. You can check the status of your sell order by clicking the icon in the top-right corner of the window and then clicking Trade history.
