You can enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in your social account provider’s security settings to add another layer of security to your wallet.

2FA adds an additional step to the login process (which is why it’s sometimes called 2-Step Verification). The additional step requires you to verify that you’re the account owner.

Depending on your social account provider, you can verify account ownership by entering a one-time code (generated with a mobile app or received by text message), or by approving the login through a mobile app controlled by your social account provider.

Even if somebody else knows your social account login details, with 2FA enabled they can’t log in to your wallet because they can’t complete the verification step. This makes 2FA a simple but effective way to protect your wallet.

It takes less than a minute to enable 2FA and we strongly recommend that you do this as soon as you have tokens or NFTs in your wallet.
