NUFI supports hundreds of blockchains including Bitcoin, Solana, Tron, Ethereum, Cardano, EVM chains like Base and Arbitrum, and SVM chains like Eclipse. You can choose which ones appear in your wallet. Popular EVM chains are built in, and you can add any other EVM chain yourself.


Disabling a blockchain only hides it. Its accounts and assets aren't deleted, and they reappear when you enable it again.


Enable or disable blockchains
  1. Click the gear icon next to Blockchains at the top of the left-hand panel.
  2. Toggle blockchains on or off.
  3. Click Save.


While using a Dapp: if a Dapp needs a blockchain you haven't enabled, the NUFI connector window will ask you to turn it on. Click Activate, then choose the account to connect.


Add a custom EVM chain

There are three ways to do this:


Option 1: Chainlist (recommended)

  1. If you have the MetaMask extension installed, disable it first in your browser's extension settings.
  2. Go to chainlist.org and click Connect Wallet. In the NUFI window, choose your wallet profile and any EVM account.
  3. Search for the chain and click Add to MetaMask.
  4. In the NUFI window, check the chain's details and click Add. You may need to refresh NUFI before the new chain appears.


Option 2: Through a Dapp

  1. Open an EVM Dapp and connect with NUFI.
  2. Choose your wallet profile and any EVM account.
  3. When prompted to add the Dapp's blockchain, click Add. The chain is enabled and you're connected.


Option 3: Manually

  1. Click the gear icon next to Blockchains.
  2. Click Add custom blockchain at the top.
  3. Enter the chain ID, network name, RPC URL, currency symbol and block explorer URL, then click Add.

Edit or remove a custom EVM chain
  1. Click the gear icon next to Blockchains.
  2. Find the chain and click Edit.
  3. Change the network name, RPC URL, currency symbol or block explorer URL, then click Save. To remove the chain, click Delete blockchain.
