This article explains how to pair a GridPlus Lattice1 hardware wallet with NUFI wallet so that you can manage your GridPlus Lattice1's Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum and EVM, and SVM accounts inside NUFI's interface. See all supported chains here.

This gives you access to more functionality:

  • Solana staking - stake the SOL in your GridPlus wallet
  • Solana DEX - swap any tokens on Solana blockchain
  • Connect your GridPlus wallet to DeFi and other Decentralized Apps (Dapps)
  • Swap crypto-for-crypto using a cross-chain exchange (185 chains supported)

It takes about a minute to set up a NUFI wallet profile and pair your device's account(s) into NUFI's interface.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Supported functionality

  • Securely send and receive assets on hundreds of chains
  • Connect your GridPlus accounts to DeFi and other Decentralized Apps (Dapps)
  • Stake SOL direct to the blockchain
  • Manage NFTs in a multi-chain gallery
  • Exchange over 1000 assets across 185 blockchains
  • Solana DEX inside your wallet
  • Buy and sell crypto with card, Apple/Google pay, PayPal and others
  • View and export your wallet's transaction and staking history

Important

  • When you pair a GridPlus device with NUFI wallet, your crypto remains in your GridPlus wallet.
  • By pairing, you simply share your wallet's public address(es) so that NUFI can query the blockchain and show you the contents of your wallet, plus its staking setup, history, and so on.
  • Your wallet's private keys are never shared with NUFI - these always remain inside the GridPlus device itself.
  • You must always pair a GridPlus device using the wireless or cable method, and never by entering the device's seed/recovery phrase online.
  • NUFI is a non-custodial wallet and cannot access or control any of the funds you manage via NUFI's interface.

Setup

Before you continue, please ensure that your GridPlus device's firmware is up to date.

1. Create a NUFI wallet profile

Before you can manage your GridPlus accounts in NUFI's interface, you must create a NUFI wallet profile and pair your device's accounts into it.

There are two versions of NUFI wallet:

Both versions of NUFI support GridPlus Lattice1 devices, but they differ in terms of Dapp connectivity; the browser extension connects to all Dapps, while the web wallet connects to any Dapp that supports WalletConnect.

2. Pair your GridPlus device's accounts with NUFI wallet

  1. Open NUFI wallet and select 'Pair hardware wallet' on the first screen
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a NUFI wallet profile:

Choose a wallet name and a password; this allows you to log in on your next visit without needing to connect your device (but you will always need to connect your device in order to sign transactions).

Write down your NUFI wallet's recovery phrase or skip this step if you don't plan to create any non-hardware wallet accounts.

  3. When NUFI wallet opens, enable the blockchains you want to use:
  4. Select 'Add Account' and select the middle option, 'Add new HW account'; choose a blockchain and select GridPlus.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to export your GridPlus wallet's public keys from the device:

    - When NUFI receives your wallet's public keys, you'll see your accounts and balances listed for that particular blockchain.

    - Choose which account(s) you would like to pair with NUFI and click Continue. Choose a name for each account if you wish.

Important: For some blockchains, different accounts can be derived from the same public key. NUFI shows you, in separate tabs at the top, each derivation path and the resulting accounts (with balances).

Your accounts and assets will now be visible inside NUFI's interface.

Repeat the process for each blockchain you want to manage. You can pair your device's existing accounts or create new accounts at any time by clicking 'Add Account' at the bottom of the accounts list.
