Support for Magic Eden wallet will end on May 1st 2026. To keep accessing your funds, you can restore your Magic Eden wallet into NUFI's non-custodial wallet interface using your wallet's recovery phrase.

After restoring, you can manage your same assets, connect to Magic Eden and other DApps, stake Solana, swap tokens, and more using NUFI.

NUFI is the only wallet that supports the Solana accounts created by Magic Eden wallet (which uses the less-common m/44'/501'/X'/0/0 derivation path), as well as the Bitcoin (inc. Ordinals and Runes), Ethereum and EVM accounts created by Magic Eden wallet.

Step 1: Open NUFI wallet

  • Install NUFI's browser extension wallet here (recommended) or open the web wallet here

Step2: Restore Wallet

Open NUFI and select 'Restore Wallet'; you'll see the screen below.

  • Select 12 words and then enter your Magic Eden wallet's recovery phrase.
  • To find this phrase, open Magic Eden wallet > Settings > Backup > View Recovery Phrase

Step 3: Choose a wallet name and set a password

Set a name and password for your wallet. This allows you to:
  • Log in quickly when you open NUFI
  • Create multiple wallet profiles (you can choose which wallet you want to log in to each time you open NUFI)

Step 4: Enable blockchains

When your wallet opens, click Manage Blockchains. You'll see the different blockchains that NUFI supports (with an option to custom-add EVM chains). Select which blockchains you want to enable:

  • You'll restore your accounts for each selected chain.
  • If you select a chain that you haven't used before, a new account will be created; your same recovery phrase is the backup for all accounts (old and new) for all chains.

Important:

NUFI supports multiple derivation paths for most blockchains, including Solana. If you restore your Magic Eden wallet but you don't see your existing Solana account(s):

  • click Add Account on the left side (at the bottom of the accounts list)
  • select the first option (Add New Account) and select Solana
  • open the 4th tab, which displays accounts with the derivation path used by Magic Eden
  • select accounts to add to your wallet

After restoring your wallet

  • Your accounts will be displayed on the left side. Filter by blockchain using the icons at the top.
  • To see NFTs, select a blockchain, then the NFTs tab:

Step 5: (Optional) Add more accounts

If an account isn't restored as expected, you may need to add it manually:

  • On the left side, at the bottom of the accounts list, click Add Account
  • Select the first option, "Add new account"
  • Select a blockchain

You'll see a list of available accounts that can be added. Depending on the blockchain, you can view different derivation paths (which generate different accounts from the same seed phrase) by clicking the tabs at the top. Here's an example for Bitcoin accounts:

Step 6: (Optional) Import tokens

If you restore an account but some tokens aren't visible, you may need to import the token manually before it's displayed in your wallet. Learn how to do this here.

About NUFI wallet

  • NUFI is a non-custodial multichain wallet that supports Solana, Bitcoin (including Ordinals and Runes), Cardano, Ethereum and all EVM chains, SVM chains (Eclipse and SonicSVM), and Flow.

  • NUFI supports 6 hardware wallets: Ledger, Trezor, Keystone, OneKey, GridPlus and BitBox02. You can manage your Magic Eden wallet's accounts and hardware wallet accounts inside the same wallet. To do this, restore your Magic Eden wallet first (using its recovery phrase), then click 'Add Account' on the left side; choose the middle option to pair a new HW account and follow instructions to pair your device and add its accounts to your wallet.

  • You can use NUFI's browser extension wallet to connect to DApps on all supported chains. If a DApp doesn't support NUFI wallet directly, you can still connect using Wallet Emulation mode: details here.

  • NUFI supports non-custodial staking for Solana, Cardano and Flow. Details here.

  • You can swap Solana tokens using a DEX aggregator (powered by Jupiter), and swap tokens across chains using a cross-chain exchange built into the wallet. Inside NUFI, click 'DEX' on the left to get started.
